And for the Conscious Universe we pray

This is the fourth sonnet I wrote in a bout of divine inspiration during the end of the first semester of my freshman year at Johns Hopkins University, when I was 18 years old.

Think of the issues of absurdism, existentialism, indifference, hard determinism, free will, the collective conscious and unconscious described by Jung, the concepts of fate and destiny, the grandness, scale, beauty of the Universe, Nature, God, Cosmos, Miltonian verse, prayer, etc.!

PS: 'strand': the shore or beach of the sea or ocean; shore; beach.
